Funeral service for Zachary "Duke" Nelson will be at 11:00 am Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Cache Schools Auditorium with Adam Lamle, Pastor of True Oak Fellowship, Tuttle, OK officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cache Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends Friday evening, April 7, 2017 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Zachary Duke Nelson, 28, Cache passed away Monday April 3, 2017 at his home.  He was born March 8, 1989 in Lawton to Al Duke Nelson, Jr. and Janet Elaine (Howell) Nelson.  He was raised in Cache and graduated from Cache High School.  Duke had worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber for the last six years.  He was self taught at playing the guitar and loved spending time with his "buddy's", lighting up any room he entered.  He was always the life of the party and always had a story he could tell or become part of. He enjoyed hunting, but was an avid fisherman and noodler.  These were the times he loved and cherished with his friends.

Survivors include his parents; Bubba and Janet Nelson of Indiahoma, his sister Terra Nelson of Indiahoma, grandparents; Al Nelson of Sawyer, OK, Sylvia Nelson of Rattan, OK and Earl and Karen Howell of Indiahoma.  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Dennis Howell of Indiahoma, Dianne and Russell Chadwick of Indiahoma, Penny Huling of Cache, Jackie and Dennis Green of Cache, Lisa and Thomas O'Kelley of Groesbeck, TX, Ann Mary Gibbs of Cache, Jodie and Steve Price of Tallahassee, FL, Kim Kunze of Lawton and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his uncle David Kunze.
