Funeral service for Yong S. "Kim" Moore will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2017 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home with Dr. Greg Baxter, Chaplain, Promise Care Hospice officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Yong S. "Kim" Moore, age 65, Elgin, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, April 10, 2017.  She was at home with her husband and family by her side.  Kim was born January 5, 1952 in Chongsan-Myon, South Korea to Chole Su Kim and Ke Suk Moon.  She was the oldest of seven children.  Kim married Harold Moore on October 15, 1975 in Seoul, South Korea.  They moved back to the United States in April 1976 and lived in Texas, Idaho and Florida before retiring in Elgin in May 1984.  Kim was active in her church.  She also loved fishing, gardening, bingo and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Harold, of the home; her mother, three brothers and a sister in South Korea; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Yong Chun and Freddie Abshire, Waldorf, Maryland and Yong Cha and Mike Dooley, Stafford, Virginia; a daughter, Jania Tung, San Diego, California; three step children, Kathy Mounts, Lawton, Rickey Moore, Sterling and Charles Moore and wife Kimberly, Sterling; five grandchildren including Leah Pinkston, Watertown, New York; 20 great grandchildren including Bryan Cortright, Watertown, New York and Cade Baker, Fort Smith, Arkansas; three great great grandchildren and many loving friends and family members.
