A memorial service for Wolfgang John Cecil Cruse will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 30, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church Lawton, Oklahoma.

Wolfgang John Cecil Cruse, Sr., 50, passed away peacefully at his home in Lawton, Oklahoma on Friday, January 8, 2021.

Wolfgang was born in Wiesbaden Hessen, Germany on February 14, 1970 to John Elbert and Astrid Anita (Newton) Cruse. He graduated from the Blue Springs High School in Missouri. He joined the U.S. Army in Missouri and was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He remained in Lawton after his discharge from service and began his career as a heavy equipment operator doing road construction. He married Kelly Sue Johnson the love of his life on December 4, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Wolfgang is survived by his wife of the home; two children, Tori Nichole Cruse, and Alex Cruse; mother, Astrid Anita Newton; one brother, Lewis Gregory, five sisters, Mary Richardson, Anita Townsend, Jackie Atatai, Lisa Hall and Sarah Mangelson; and eight grandchildren, Keegan, Klayton, Natalee, Kobe, Kenzley, Novalee, Isaac and Daisy; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and one son, Wolfgang John Cecil Cruse, Jr.
