Graveside service for Wilma Jean Bounds, 80, Elgin, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, Oklahoma. Miss Bounds died Tuesday, November 26 in Lawton. Arrangements are with the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Wilma Jean was born October 28, 1933 in Bethany, Oklahoma to Wilburn O. and Dorcas (Wilson) Bounds. She graduated from Bethany High School in 1952. She worked in food and retail services, retiring from J.C. Penney Company in 1992 after 21 years of service. Her early retirement years were spent helping her friends and neighbors by taking them to shop, doctor appointments, etc. She was a sweet lady and enjoyed helping others. She had a great love for her family, especially her nephews and nieces and their families. She lived in Bethany until 2005, when she moved to Elgin to be close to her sister and brother in law. She is survived by her brother, Norman Bounds, Bethany; a sister and brother in law, Carolyn Bounds Millen and Earl, Elgin; Nephews, Mike Bounds, Mark Bounds and Brian Millen; nieces, Carol Collier Goodwin, Pat Collier Crowell, Cindy Bounds Dinger, Suzy Bounds Robinson, Beverly Vincent Clark and Stephanie Millen Grigg; eighteen great nephews and nieces; and a great great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alice Bounds Collier and Jerrie Bounds Vincent Jones; sister in law, Jeri Ethridge Bounds; three brothers in law, Bert Collier, Hugh Vincent and Orville Jones; nephew Irvin R.
