Graveside service for William Coy Bush, 83, Snyder will be at 1:30 pm Monday, May 5, 2014 in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Rev. Kerry Glasgow, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Snyder and David Richardson, Snyder, OK officiating. Mr. Bush passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at his home in Snyder. Burial with US Navy Honors will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder. * The family will greet friends Sunday evening, May 4, 2014 at the funeral home from 6pm until 7pm * He was born September 8, 1930 in Durant, Oklahoma to Grundy and Grace (Hankins) Bush. He served in the US Navy from 1948 until he was discharged in 1950. William married Mettie "Pearl" Barker on September 1, 1950 in Frederick, Oklahoma. She died May 19, 2009. William was a farmer and rancher, and loved raising quarter horses and cattle on the family farm. He is survived by his two children, Sherry Brown and husband Rick of Claremore, OK, Stan Bush and his wife Jean of Anthony, NM, three sisters, Wanda Perry of Norman, OK, Shirley Harrison of Mountain Park, OK, Suzie Hollis of Mountain Park, OK, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sons, Steven and Sammie Bush. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain Park Cemetery Association.
