Funeral service for Wilfred Kekaimalino "Pineapple" Grace, 76, Elgin, will be at 10:00 am Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Elgin, with Thomas Brewer, Pastor, officiating. Mr. Grace passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at his home in Elgin. Burial will be in Elgin Memorial Lawn, Elgin, under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 5pm-7pm Friday at the funeral home. Pineapple was born February 25, 1938 in South Kona, Hawaii to Francis and Mary Grace. He resided in Hawaii until he moved to Lawton in 1962. His hobbies included art, collecting football memorabilia "Go Cowboys", and landscaping. He was not a person you could keep from mowing. Even with one eye he was better at bowling, horse shoes and checkers than the rest of the family. He enjoyed movies and the family Sunday. He loved working at the Fort Sill Golf Course until our Lord called him home. He loved attending the First Baptist Church, Elgin and spending time with his family. He would help anyone without thought of gain or reward. He wanted to make everyone's life easier. Pineapple was a great role model for his nieces and nephews, and he always had a smile as bright as the sun no matter what the situation. Survivors include a niece and her husband Margaret and Ken Mays, Elgin; a cousin, Daisy P. Kelly, Lawton; three nieces, Wanda and her husband and family, Virginia; Irene and family, Lawton; Annette and family, Virginia and Oklahoma; a nephew, Joe and his family, Oklahoma City; and a niece Holly, Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Francis and Raymond; and two nephews, Frankie Costa and Tony Mossa.
