Age 84 - Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Mountain Park Cemetery, Mountain Park, with Eddy Wayne Messick, Nephew officiating. Mr. Rogers died Tuesday in Roland. Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. He was born November 10, 1923, North of Roosevelt, Kiowa County, OK to Henry Hubbard and Ada Mae (Smith) Rogers. He married Thelma Lois Richardson on October 19, 1947 in Tipton, Oklahoma. He was employed with Kerr-McGee Chemical Corporation in Trona, California. He served in the US Army during WW II. Survivors include his wife Thelma of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law, Mickey and Bob Brannon of Arkoma, OK, Neala and Steven Montgomery of Frankfurt, Germany, son David Rogers and wife Beth of Kihei, HI, three Grandchildren, Melissa Bartels, Bryan Brannon, Candice Montgomery, three great grandchildren, Masey Brannon, Kynli Brannon, Cassidy Bartels, one brother Joe Neal Rogers of Knoxville, TN, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Christopher Montgomery, two sisters, Jean Messick, Lavern Smallwood and two brothers, Coy Rogers and Glenn Rogers.
