Memorial service for Wesley P. Best will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015, at Liberty Heights Christian Church, with Chuck Pettigrew, Pastor officiating. Wesley P. Best, age 75, passed away November 2, 2015 in Lawton. He was born June 2, 1940 in Lawton to Ernest Ray and Audrey Pauline (Murphree) Best. Wesley retired from civil service after 25 years. He was an artist and had several showings in Lawton over the years. He was a member of Liberty Heights Christian Church for many years. He is survived by his son, Darren Romano and his wife Annie, two grandchildren, Jimmy and Sarah; a sister, Rae Ann McDonald of Lawton; a brother, Ronald Paul Best of Amarillo, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
