A celebration of life for Wendy Lynn Weyher-Weeks of Lawton was held by her family on May 25, 2018 in Lawton.
Mrs. Weeks, age 48, passed away from this life on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
Inurnment will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Wendy Lynn Weyher-Weeks was born May 6, 1970, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Steve and Francy Weyher. She attended Lawton High School where she graduated in 1988 and attended Cameron University for a year. Wendy was married to Chad Myers in 1993 and they lived at Fort Sill where her two sons were born. They moved to Dallas after her husband left the service. Wendy worked for a real estate firm in Dallas before she and her sons returned to Lawton in 2003 where she worked for Pam and Barry's Team Real Estate and then for Jay Kinder Real Estate. She met the love of her life, James Weeks, in 2009, and they married in 2010. Wendy loved both collegiate and professional football, but she was an especially avid fan of the Green Bay Packers - in fact she was a proud Packers shareholder, so much so that several family members commented that she is most likely up in Heaven telling Vince Lombardi how to run his next play. Wendy collected Green Bay Packer memorabilia, Star Wars memorabilia, and Titanic movie memorabilia. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, video games, and keeping in touch with her friends and family online. She adored her children and grandchild. Wendy was a lifelong member of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her father, Steve Weyher of Branson, Missouri; her mother, Francy Lee, and her Stepfather, Brad Lee, of Lawton; three sons, Joshua Myers, Lawton; Matthew Myers of Springfield, Illinois; and Brendan Weeks of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Shelby Weeks of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Jason Weyher of Lawton; one stepbrother, Steven Lee of Blue Springs, Missouri; one granddaughter, Robin Myers of Lawton; an aunt and uncle, Sylvia Burgess and John Courington of Lawton; an uncle, Bill Burgess of Lawton; an uncle, Fred Weyher of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; an aunt, Suzanne Whitney of Naples, Florida; four cousins, Bradley Burgess and Bevy Burgess of Lawton; Pam Andringa of South Carolina and Joseph Scott of Naples, Florida; two nephews, Caleb Weyher and Brayden Weyher of Wichita Falls, Texas and a host of other family members and many friends.
