Funeral service for Wayne Paul Jackson will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Lawton, Oklahoma

Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Wayne Paul Jackson, 85, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Lawton.

Wayne was born in Humnoke, Arkansas on October 20, 1937, to Ray and Rosa (Morgan) Jackson. They moved to Lawton in 1950 where he was known for riding his trike cycle all over town. He was not able to work but enjoyed tinkering especially with lawn mower motors and gardening. He will be missed by all those that knew him.

Wayne is survived by his brother, Willard Jackson; nephews, Bobby Deats and wife, Brandy; and, David Jackson, Sr. and Dale McKinney; nieces, Shela Armondi and husband, Douglas; Elizabeth Marshall; Marcann Woolard; Billie Dodson and husband, Michael; and, Marqueta Deats and husband, Vince; and, many other nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ray Jackson, Jr., Aubrey Jackson, William "Bull" Jackson, and Doyn Jackson; two sisters, Wanda Jackson McKinney, and Dorothy Deats.
