Funeral service for Wanda Faye Mason will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 at Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Lawton, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Wanda Mason was born March 24,1946 in Shamrock, Oklahoma to Athelene Anderson and Archie Lyons. She went home to be with the Lord at the age of 77 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother. She was a long-time faithful member of Greater Galilee Baptist Church

in Lawton where she served faithfully as a deaconess. She was ready and willing to be a good servant to the WMU, Sunday School Department, Vacation Bible School and Deaconess. On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, God our Heavenly Father, in His infinite wisdom called Wanda Mason from labor and allowed her to enter her eternal resting place.

Wanda Mason leaves to celebrate her life and cherish memories, Barry Hayes, Sr (Lawton), LaTrisha Patterson (Mark) (Woodbridge, Virginia), Angela McClain (Gregory) (Lawton), she leaves four grandchildren, Ashley Simmons (Lawton), Barry Hayes, Jr (Lawton) , Courtney Metcalf (Julian) of Fort Worth, Texas, Kelsey Patterson (Woodbridge, Virginia), and three great grandchildren, Kayden West, Jania Metcalf, Josiah Metcalf (Fort Worth, Texas) along with a host of relatives and friends.
