Age 69, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ki Young Jeong officiating. Mr. Kim died Friday in Oklahoma City. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born September 10, 1940 in Samchek Kangwon-do, South Korea. He grew up in South Korea and came to the United States on May 20, 1976. He married Ok Ja Shim on April 25, 1961 in Samchek Kangwon-do. He was retired from the City of Lawton where he worked for 17 years. He was a member of New Light United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, Jin Kim, Lawton; two daughters and a son in law, Jin Hee and Thomas Dignan, Germany and Yoon Hee Kim, Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Alex Kim, Jami Kim, Chance Kim, Tyler Dignan and Zachary Dignan; a brother Wan Y. Kim, Houston, Texas; three sisters, Yon Cha Edwards, St. Louis, Missouri, Young Hee Spratt, Anchorage, Alaska and Young Sook Kuba, Hawaii. His parents preceded him in death.
