Graveside service for Virginia Womack will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mario Yarnell-Gonzalez of Western Hills Christian Church, Lawton, Oklahoma officiating.

Entombment will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Virginia Womack, 90, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Lawton. She was born December 12, 1932 in Marietta, Texas to Roy E. and Hazel Lorene (Tadlock) Joyce. Virginia married MSG (Retired) Morris Womack on December 23, 1959 in Dallas, Texas. Morris passed away October 6, 2003. Virginia, along with her husband Morris, were avid longtime bowlers. Virginia served as secretary for many of the leagues she played for.

She is survived by her two children, daughter, Cynthia Baker and husband Sumner, and son, James Shaw all of Lawton, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Michael Porges and wife Jessica of Marietta, California, Stacy Anthony of Lawton, Alesha Shaw Beunteo of Lawton, Jill Shaw of Lawton, and James Gentry of California, great grandchildren, Emily, Andrew, and Lila Porges, Brandon and Dakota Hamilton, Alexis Shaw, Aiden Moore, and Christian Shaw, Edward, Jocelyn, and Angelina Slaughter.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Roy K. Joyce, and daughter-in-law, Donna Shaw.
