Funeral service for Virginia Anderson Redding will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Cook officiating.

Private family burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Virginia Anderson Redding, after a lifetime of service to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was called home to continue her service in Heaven on November 16, 2023 at the age of 93.  She was born July 15, 1930 to Lee and Ruth Anderson in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma.  She spent her formative years in Fort Cobb where she graduated high school.  She married Duane Redding on December 17, 1949 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Virginia was a devoted mother and homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church for many years.  She was the bright light of any room she entered and will be sorely missed by all who knew her including her Arvester friends and family.

She is survived by her husband of almost 74 years, Duane Redding; her daughter, Valeeta Viani, Lawton; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Ruth Redding, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Tyler Viani, Aubry Viani, Sharon Harper and husband Sam, Kristin Diaz and husband Mike, Hank and Mindy Rae Barton, and George and Mindy Mae Barton; Great grandchildren, Kristina Harper, Katy Harper, James David Harper, Devyn Harper, Kylan Barton, Garrett Barton, Brooklyn Barton, and Taylor New and husband Chase; and a great great granddaughter, Lorrie Lane New; brother, Gary Lee Anderson; sister, Mary Ann Hall; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Tim Viani, brother, Jerry Anderson, and her sister, Betty Marie Henderson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
