Age 95, San Antonio Texas. Private family services will be held under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home with Jim Hall, minister, Fletcher Christian Church, Fletcher, Oklahoma, officiating. Mrs. Blair died Wednesday in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on October 12, 1912 in Fletcher to Dee and Cora L. (Gardner) Nix. She graduated from Fletcher High School in 1929. She married COL (Retired) John Smith Blair, III at Fort Sill. He died on January 5, 1984. She was a military wife and traveled with her husband to his various posts, including Germany. She worked for civil service at Fort Sill. They retired to Florida. After her husband's death, she moved to San Antonio, Texas and was one of the first residents of the Army Residence Community. Survivors include a nephew, Dee Nix of Fletcher; her God daughter, Pat Schroeder of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; six great nephews and great nieces, Tod Nix, Tom Nix, Terry Nix, Blair Hays, Jeff Hays and Lezlie Rube; and 12 great great nieces and great great nephews. Her parents, brother, Jack Nix, a sister, Olive Peek, and a niece, Nancy Hays, preceded her in death
