Funeral mass for Viola T. Patrick will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Philip Seeton, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Viola T. Patrick, age 83, died Monday, August 31, 2015 in Lawton. She was born January 30, 1932 in Archer City, Texas, to August and Veronica Veith. She grew up in Windthorst, Texas and on June 28, 1954 married Harvey Patrick. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1983. She and her husband started Lawton Communication in 1963 and moved to Lawton in 1964. She had been a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church which is now Holy Family Catholic Church since 1964. She was also active with the Pink Ladies at Comanche County Memorial Hospital as well as the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies were gardening, canning, traveling, cooking raisin pies and embroidering. She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Carol and Joe Craig, Newcastle, Oklahoma; a son and daughter in law, Arthur and Kim Patrick, Lawton; two grandsons, Cole and Grant Patrick; three sisters, Bertha Mae Gilmore and husband Royce, Jeanette Moer and Flavia Garner; three brothers, Charles Veith and wife Joyce, James Veith and Jerry Veith and wife Marjorie. Her parents, a daughter, Barbara Patrick, and a brother, Paul Veith, brothers in law, Dillard Schenk, Ed Moer and John Garner and sister in law, Nell Veith, preceded her in death.
