Funeral service for Vianona Hurst will be at 10:00 am Monday, January 4, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William F. Watkins, Baptist Minister officiating.

Mrs. Hurst passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 in a Lawton hospital.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Vianona Hurst, 95, Lawton was born September 14, 1920 in Sterling, Oklahoma to John and Mollie (Overstreet) Hale. She married Otha L. Hurst on June 21, 1937 in Sterling, Oklahoma. He passed away December 5, 2006. She worked as the Duncan Public Schools cafeteria manager for 33 years. Vianona was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her two sons, Leon Hurst and wife Robbie of Lawton, Edward Hurst and wife Claudette of South Lake, TX, four grandchildren, Lea Kurlinski and husband Tom of Aurora, CO, Edie Pannell and husband Tommy of Keller, TX, Chris Scott of Lawton, Derrick Hurst and spouse Dawn Roberts of Colorado Springs, CO, ten great grandchildren, Chance Morrison, Broc Kifer, Danielle Morrison, Cassandra Kifer, Peaches Hurst, Craig Scott and wife Amber, Katie Kurlinski, Lexi Turner, Alyssa Hurst, Kayley Hurst and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her granddaughter Sherry Turner and seven siblings.
