Age 89, Mountain Park - Funeral services will be at 10:30am Thursday in the First Baptist Church, Mountain Park with Bro. Harlon Woodall, Pastor and Emmett Hayslip, Mountain Park officiating. She passed away Monday at the English Village Nursing Home in Altus, where she had resided since suffering a stroke in March of 2007. Burial will be in Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. *** The Family will greet friends Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home. *** She was born January 9, 1920 on a farm near Mountain Park to Clyde and Lola Woodward. She attended Snyder schools, graduating from Snyder High School in 1936. She was a homemaker and lived all of her life in the Mountain Park and Hobart areas. She was married to Donald Orr in 1947. He died in 1950. She then married Ollis McPhail on November 10, 1952 in Altus. He preceded her in death in 1992. Survivors include a daughter Janet and son-in-law Jackie of Mountain Park, OK, step-son Roy Orr of Hobart, OK, sister Geneva Morrison of Grandview, TX, three grandchildren, Eric and wife Nacole Ney of Mountain Park, OK, Adam Ney of Childress, TX, Collin Ney of Mountain Park, OK, two great granddaughters, Cierra and Brittany and a great grandson Hunter. She is also survived by nephews Maury, Mickey and Marty Morrison and their families, and numerous other nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-Carthel Winnett , brother Kenneth Woodward in, a grandson Jason Lynn Ney in 1975 and 2 nephews Gary and Bud Winnett. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Mountain Park.
