Age 79, Lawton - Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Posey died Friday at her home. Arrangements are with the Becker Funeral Home. She was born July 17, 1929 in Ruston, Louisiana to Thomas A. and Hattie Emma (Edmiston) Martin. She married SFC (Ret) Barrie I. Posey on May 28, 1947 in Gurdon, Arkansas. He died on April 10, 1988. Survivors include 4 children, Teresa D. Evans and her husband Jim of Republic, Missouri, Terry R. Posey of the home, Richard D. Posey and his wife Sandra of Lawton, and Sharyl A. Randall of Chickasha; a grandson, Michael E. Durgin of Lawton; a great grandson, Justin T. Durgin of Lawton; and a sister Evelyn M. Shaeffer of Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents, a son, Barry S.
