Age 78, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday in the Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Howard, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. Thrash died Thursday in Wichita Falls, Texas. Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. Mrs. Thrash was born on March 15, 1931 in Lincoln, Texas to Herman O. and Hermina (Kreumcke) Herzog. She married CSM (Ret) Fred M. Thrash on May 7, 1948 in Copperas Cove, Texas. He died on April 16, 2003. She was a domestic goddess. She also was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening. She was an active member of the Bible study group at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Fred M. Thrash, II and Julie of Yukon, Oklahoma and Terry L. Thrash of Wichita Falls, Texas; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Jim McGoodwin of Oklahoma City and Candy and Bob Wolken of Littleton, Colorado; 7 Grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Cruddas of Killeen, Texas; and two brothers, Rev. James Herzog of Copperas Cove, Texas and Martin Herzog of La Grange, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Building Fund, 2105 NW 38th St., Lawton, OK 73505.
