Funeral Mass for Vanessa Thorpe will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2022 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Philip Seeton, Pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.

Vanessa Thorpe was born September 30, 1982 in Los Angeles, California.  She grew up in Fresno, California and moved to Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 18.  She was a graduate of Platt College and had worked most recently at Comanche County Memorial Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

She is survived by her parents, Abraham and Aurelia Vega, Lawton, Oklahoma; three children, Brianna Destiny Crispin, Priscilla Mercedez Crispin and Eddie Oscar Crispin, Jr.;her sisters, Maricela Carrillo and Stephanie Alvarado; and her brother, Abraham Vega, Jr.; husband and best friend, Khoury Thorpe, along with several nieces and nephews.

Her brother, Oscar Carrillo, preceded her in death.
