Graveside service for Val Gene Simpson, 57, Lawton will beat 10:00 AM Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery in Apache. Mr. Simpson passed away in Lawton on Thursday, September 11, 2014, surrounded by his family and friends. Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Val was born November 10, 1956 in Lexington, Kentucky to Eugene and Bernice (Rinker) Simpson. He was a lifelong resident of Lawton and his work touched many of the new buildings in the community. He is survived by his son, Bobby Gene Simpson, of Summerville, South Carolina, his grandchildren, Bradley, Mateo, Jasmine and Elijah and his daughter-in-law, Crystal. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Carothers and her husband Ricky, of Indiahoma, Oklahoma and his brother, Rocky Simpson and his wife, Cindy, of Stafford, Virginia. Val will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
