Graveside service for Vada L. Barnes, 89, Lawton, will be 10:00 am Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Rusty Husted, Pastor, Bethel United Methodist Church, Lawton, officiating under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Barnes died Monday in Lawton. Family will greet friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vada was born on February 15, 1922 in Durham, North Carolina to Junie and Thelma (Ellington) Cash. She worked at Fort Sill National Bank from 1966-1986 before retiring. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Deavours of Indiahoma; 2 sons, Thomas Harvey Barnes & wife Nancy of Indiahoma and John Ray Barnes of Lawton; 9 grandchildren, Josh & Wife Tara Deavours, Chase Deavours & Fiancee Megan Dye, Amber Barnes, April Barnes & Fiance James Witt, Sarah Hunter & husband Jesse, Justin Barnes & wife Ashley, Brittany File & husband Kevin, Lance Barnes, Heather Barnes; 10 Great Grandchildren, Maddison, Kinsley, Ethan, Erin, Brandon, Jordyn, Alexa, Hailey, Brooklynne and Caidon. She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Ashley Barnes and Travis Delcamp; 2 sisters and a brother.
