Funeral services for U.S. Navy ATSC (Retired) Philip Ralph Stewart will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2023 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

He will be laid to rest with his wife at a later date in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pennsylvania.

Philip Ralph Stewart died Monday, June 19, 2023 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 80.  He was born July 10, 1942 in Enon Valley, Pennsylvania to Leon K. and Bessie C. (Williams) Stewart.  He spent his formative years in Pennsylvania and graduated high school from Mohawk High School in Bessemer, Pennsylvania.  He married Delores J. "Dee" Driesbaugh on September 14, 1963 in Akron, Ohio.  She preceded him in death on October 7, 2018.

Philip had a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy, serving his country with dedication and honor for over 25 years. Throughout his service, he received numerous awards and decorations, including the Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Defense Service Medal, and a fifth Good Conduct Award. After retiring from the Navy, he continued his contributions to the nation as a Logistics Analyst Manager with the U.S. Government for ten years.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Philip was an active member of the Church of God. He had a passion for bird watching and found immense joy in spoiling his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his four children and their spouses, Kenneth L. and Robin Stewart, Donna L. Stewart, Philip M. and Susan Stewart and Sheryl and James Cooksey; two sisters and brothers- in-law, Beverly and Samuel Schellinberger and Nancy and David Ramsier; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Julia Stewart and Dr. Roger and Sue Stewart' 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
