Funeral service for TSgt (Retired) Jerry Suggs will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lawton with Bishop Adam Eaton officiating.

Burial with full military honors will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home,

The family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

TSgt (Retired) Jerry Suggs, age 77, of Elgin, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Lawton.  He was born July 11, 1945 in Berkley, California to Charles McKinley and Eula Lea (Holly) Suggs.  He married Martha Burrus on March 24, 1966 at Amarillo Air Force Base, Texas. TSgt Suggs was an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force and Civil Service.  He loved to hunt and work on guns.  He was a member of the Pilot Masonic Lodge #367 in Elgin.

Survivors include his wife Martha, of the home two daughters, Sandra Sitte, Bend, Oregon and Cheryl Smith and her husband, Roland, Charlotte, North Carolina, grandson, Caleb Lukenbill and his wife, Stephanie, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and three great grandchildren, Upton Olsen, Surrette Olsen and Saorise Lukenbill.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
