Age 61, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Reimer, Pastor, Faith Bible Church, and Mike McKee officiating. Mrs. Scholbrock died Wednesday in a Lawton hospital. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. She was born May 23, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas. She married David Gutierrez in 1969, and they divorced in 1991. She married Donald Scholbrock in 1993, and he died in 1997. She had been a manager at Sam's Wholesale Club and also with AAFES at Fort Sill. Mrs. Scholbrock had been a devoted military wife. She sang in her church choir in San Antonio and attended Faith Bible Church while in Lawton. She was an expert cake decorator. She also raised many foster children. She is survived by her companion, David Gray of the home; 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, David Jose Gutierrez of San Antonio, Texas, Nathan and Courtney Gutierrez of Nixa, Missouri and Daryl and Shannon Gutierrez of Belgium; 9 grandchildren; her mother, Salome Silva of San Antonio, Texas; 2 sisters, Maria Silva and Janie Esquival; a brother, Fidel Valdez; and many nieces, nephews, foster children and friends. Her father and a sister, Helena Patino preceded her in death.
