Age 85, Lawton - Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Dean Long, SGI USA officiating. Mrs. Pollard died Wednesday in Lawton. Inurnment will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. She was born April 19, 1924 in Osaka, Japan to Shikazo and Yoshi (Tani) Yoshioka. She married William Hoyt Pollard, Sr. on June 11, 1951 in Kobe, Japan. He died July 9, 1973. Mrs. Pollard was involved in her children's school activities. Survivors include two sons; William H. Pollard, Jr. and his wife Lola, Webster, South Dakota and Lonnie Z. Pollard, of the home, a daughter; Christine Fox, Lawton seven grandchildren and their spouses; Heather and Richard Stoll, Elgin, Stephany and Jared Zephier, San Antonio, Texas, Josie Pollard, San Antonio, Rita Pollard, Webster, Corey and Patricia Oliver, Lawton, Shaun and Connie Oliver, Lawton and Pryce Pollard, Webster, eleven great grandchildren; Kyler Belinson and Mackenzie Pratt, both of Elgin, Brooke and Jordan Oliver, Fort Worth, Texas, Sage Pollard and Shayla Pollard, both of San Antonio, Alexandria Oliver, Corey I. Oliver and Tanner and Taylor Wallace, all of Lawton and Brandon Stoll, Elgin, a sister; Miyoko Thompson, Seattle, Washington and a brother; Shiozo Yoshioka, Osaka, Japan. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters; Tomiko Pollard and Shirley Oliver.
