Memorial service for Tod Slippey will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel.

Tod Slippey, 41, Altus, Oklahoma passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 in Altus. Tod was born in Reno, Nevada on September 29, 1977. Tod grew up in the Altus and Snyder areas and graduated from Snyder High School. He later held a job as a framer in the home construction business. Tod loved to fish, hunt and play disc golf. He was very good at disc golf and competed in several tournaments. Tod and his family loved tailgating at OU football games. He was a handyman and helped others when they needed it. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Tod is survived by his three children, two sons, Bryce Slippey of Eldorado, Oklahoma, Haven Slippey of Mustang, Oklahoma and daughter, Kaitlyn Strategier of Norman, Oklahoma, two sisters, Karen Flinn and husband Perch of Snyder, Oklahoma and Ashlee Huttie and husband Michael of Altus, Oklahoma, parents, Chuck and Teresa (Anderson) Benson of Altus, Oklahoma, paternal grandmother, Janie Barnes of Altus, Oklahoma, former wife, Traci Cotton of Eldorado, Oklahoma and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tod was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Benson, five children, Samantha, Sayde, Payden, Malley and Savannah Slippey, maternal grandparents, Bill and Patsy Haun and an uncle, Roy McKelvey.
