Memorial service for Timothy L "Tim" Winkelman, 67, will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Northwest Church of Christ with Minister Troy Rogers officiating.

Tim passed away on June 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 26, 1955 in Oklahoma City, to Amil and Helen (Hunt) Winkelman.

Tim met Nora (Chrestensen) while driving a truck in Colorado in 1981, and they were married April 30, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tim graduated with the class of 1973 from Eisenhower High school in Lawton, Oklahoma.  He went on to attend Oklahoma State University Technical School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, earning his certificate in Diesel Mechanics.  In addition to being a mechanic, he was a lifelong farmer & truck driver. After retiring from truck driving, he was a Pilot Car Driver until stopping in 2018 to focus on his grandchildren at home.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Nora of 42 years, their daughters, Tabitha Painter and Tanya (Jaren) Winkelman-Diamond,  his granddaughter, Kassandra Painter and his grandsons, Brady and Cayde Ellender. He is also survived by his estranged daughters, Tammy L & Amanda R Allison and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Amil and Helen Winkelman, his in-laws, Donald and Nora Chrestensen, his uncle, Byron Hunt, his brother, Joel Burton, and his first grandchild, Byron O'Rourke.
