Age 29, Lawton - Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Becker Memorial Chapel with David A. Butcher, Minister Grace Fellowship, officiating. Mr. Benson died Friday at his home. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, OK under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born July 7, 1980 in Hobart Oklahoma to Chuck and Teresa Michelle (Anderson) Benson. He graduated from Altus High School in 1998. He attended WOSC, Southwestern and GPTC where he received his degree as a Certified Respiratory Therapist in 2001. He married Jennifer Smith in Altus, OK on August 10, 2002. Timothy was a giant OU fan. He is survived by his wife of the home, 2 children, T.J. Benson and Presley Benson of the home, his parents of Altus, Ok; 1 Brother: Todd Slippey and his wife Tracy, Mangum, Ok, 2 Sisters: Karen Flinn and husband Perch, Snyder, OK, Ashley Turnbull, Altus, OK; Father and mother inlaw: Little Bit and Janie Smith, Lawton, OK, sister and brother-in-law Crystal and Adam Jung, Central High, Grandparents, Patsy and Bill Haun Snyder, OK, and Daisy Gardner, Lawton, OK , and numerous other friends and family. A niece Savannah Slippey, an uncle Roy McKelvey, and 2 cousins Matt Massey and Sean Massey preceded him in death.
