Glenn Jones, age 50, closed his eyes for the last time on this earth and opened his new eyes in Heaven on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Oklahoma City. After a yearlong battle with cancer and complications arising from this horrid disease, Glenn's body could no longer fight. He entered the arms of his living Jesus, and the family finds comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering; yet we are left behind with a huge hole in our hearts.

Upon graduating, Glenn attended Angelo State University for several years. Following in his father's footsteps, Glenn returned to Anson and worked alongside his dad for Jeff Luther Construction. In August of 2000, the family of three sold their home and moved to Lawton, Oklahoma for Glenn to begin a career with AST as computer software engineer. Glenn continued his education and graduated from Cameron University with a bachelor's degree in computer science. For the last 21 years, the Jones family has made their home in Lawton. Glenn was faithfully involved as a member at Eighth and Lee Church of Christ. He served there as an audio video coordinator. He loved serving others through his church.
Glenn was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He cherished his son, Hayden, and coached his athletic teams from preschool through middle school. He led as a Boy Scout Den leader for many years sharing his love of nature and outdoor life with many boys. He led his son's troop on a trek to Colorado twice, hiking mountains and loving every minute of it.
Glenn was a do-it-all man. He could fix anything, repair everything, build whatever was needed and his friends and extended family relied on his expertise and continually sought his advice.
All who knew Glenn, knew he loved his Lord deeply and loved his family and friends fiercely.
