Age 84, Lawton - Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Jones pastor of Cameron Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Johnson died Tuesday in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. He was born December 12, 1925 in Munday, Texas to Ross and Nina (Phillips) Johnson. He joined the Navy at age seventeen and served as a medic on the USS Langfit. He married Bonnie Watkins. She died in November 1968. He married Yvonne Jester. She died in October 2009. Mr. Johnson was a car dealer all of his life having managed Norton-Kitchens Buick Cadillac and Buster Wyatt Lincoln Mercury. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Mount Scott Masonic Lodge #540. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly K. and Lanny Edwards and Leslie and David Welch, a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Cathy Albright, six grandsons, Monty Edwards, Lanny R. Edwards, Brandon Sellers, David Welch, II, Shane Albright and Michael Espinoza, two granddaughters, Marcy Davis and Dr. Audra Scearce, seven great grandchildren, a nephew, Buster Wyatt, Jr., two special great nephews, Todd Wyatt and Mitchell Wyatt and many other great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Nadine Taranto, Kate Wyatt Nicholson and Bobbie Sasser and two brothers, Coleman Johnson and Calvin Johnson.
