Age, 61, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Faith Bible Church with Rev. Leonard Reimer, Pastor, officiating. Mr. Adams died Thursday in Oklahoma City. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. He was born April 29, 1947 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to Colonel (Retired) Marcus Webb and Lillian Louise Adams, Sr. He was a graduate of Putnam City High School and later attended Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma City University. He served in the U.S. Army and was a military policeman. He was naturally gregarious and had worked for KSWO Television as a salesman and later worked for Carpet World in Oklahoma City for a number of years. He had owned Carpet Mart in Lawton and at the time of his death was again employed as a salesman for KSWO Television. He was a member of Faith Bible Church, AMBUCS and was a Gideon. He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Angie and James Thomas, Grand Prairie, Texas; a son and daughter in law, Andrew and Lorraine Adams, Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren, Abigail, Ethan and Zachary Thomas; two brothers a sister in law, Dr. Marcus Webb Adams, Jr. and wife Pat, Norman, and Eddie Adams, Sr., Lawton; his dog Max and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Bible Church, AMBUCS or the Gideon's.
