A private service and burial will be held for Teresa Penland.

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Teresa Penland, died on Thursday, November 21, 2024 after a brief illness.  She was 93 beautiful years old and passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Our mother devoted her life to her family and dearly loved each child, grandchild, and great grandchild with passion.  Her greatest joy in life was her family, both immediate and extended, whom she loved unconditionally.  We are blessed with the many memories we have made together and find solace in them during this time of loss.

Mom is preceded in death by our dad, Edwin T. Penland, her parents, and several other beloved family members who have gone before her.  We are comforted knowing they are rejoicing in Heaven together.
