Teresa Griswold died Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 76.

She was born June 21, 1949, in Newport News, Virginia, to Clifton and Mary Alice Willingham. Teresa was a 1967 graduate of Eisenhower High School. That same year, she married Larry Patton, and together they were blessed with two children, Jeff and Julie.

Teresa began her working career at Park Lane Elementary School, where she was employed from 1975 to 1985. She later worked as a travel agent for Trade Winds Travel from 1985 to 1988. In 1988, she accepted a position with Carlson-Wagonlit at Fort Sill, where she coordinated government travel. She remained in that role until her retirement in 2014.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Patton and his wife Shannon and Julie Patton, her brother, Tommy Willingham and wife Luana; and grandchildren, Preston and Ashton Patton.

Her mother, Mary Alice Moore, and her father, Clifton Willingham, preceded her in death.
