Celebration of Life for Tai Jasmina Bowles will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Bowles Residence, 1620 SE Clover Lane, Lawton, OK 73501 with Pastor Dwight Singleton, Speaker of the Hour.
The life of Tai Jasmina Bowles began 45 years ago in Mannheim, Germany on February 9, 1981. Tai is the third child of John & Marlene Bowles of Lawton, OK. Tai lived in Germany with her family for four years. Then upon her dad's reassignment Tai was with her family for the remainder of her happy and joyous life. Tai attended and graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, OK where she obtained a 4-Year bachelor's degree in communications. Tai used her education to the benefit of those she came in contact within her occupation. Tai worked as hospitality coordinator and waitress for some years. Tai found a tremendous amount of fulfillment in her employment opportunities.
Tai gave birth to the love and joy of her life, Aidean James Bowles on July 24, 2012, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton OK. Aidean James was the most perfect, handsome baby boy who exudes great potential to achieve the highest and greatest goals he sets for himself in life. Now at 14 years of age Aidean understands that "Now Unto Him. Who Is Able. To Do Exceedingly Abundantly. Above All That We Might Ask Or Think. According To The Power. That Works In Us. (Ephesians 3:20) Aidean James loves and adores his mother and displayed his unshakable devotion to Tai in being able to assist with her daily needs and desires as Tai's health began to falter and she became unable to perform basic life skills. Aidean James cherished and protected his mother. And for this, both Tai and Aidean James will be Eternally Blessed.
Tai was happy and healthy throughout most of her life. However, one night some years ago Tai had a major emergency when she stopped breathing and needed emergency resuscitation. Tai was transported to Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton OK. The medical teams concluded that Tai had a serious liver ailment that would require a liver transplant. From this point on Tai was a very sick young lady. Tai would need a second liver transplant to sustain her life. However, Tai was too weak to undergo a second transplant, so this was ruled out. Later Tai was sent home from the hospital because all that could be done medically for Tai had been done. The only hope left was a miracle from The Almighty. We knew He could. But would He was the question? Ultimately, Tai fought a good fight. Tai kept the faith. And Tai finished her course. Near the end Tai was asked daily, "Tai, How Are You Feeling My Love?" And Tai's response was most often always the same, "Oh Daddy I Am So Very Tired." However, the prayers did not stop. The prayers continued night and day.
Tai took her last breath around 10 o'clock on Saturday morning of October 3, 2026. The day before Tai had been transferred into Hospice care at home. The family thought that maybe we had a little more time together with our Tai. We were to learn a major lesson about the sovereignty and providential love and care of The Almighty. We learned that life and death are in the hands of The Almighty. He gives life. And He takes life. Let it be known that Tai lived a life that Glorified her Father on earth. And now Tai is resting in peace with her mother Marlene, her brother John IV, her aunt Jackie, her nephew Jordan and prospective niece Tiffany Turner. Tai is waiting patiently for the last trumpet to sound. And the rest is "GLORY! GLORY! GLORY FOREVER! I!" OH SWEET TAI WE WILL SEE YOU IN THE MORNING!!! WE LOVE AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!
Being comforted by Ruach HaKodesh (The Spirit) and cherishing Tai's memory are the survivors: Tai's loving and devoted (Father) Reverend Dr. John Bowles III; Aidean James Bowles (Son); Marlene Mary Scott (Sister); Timothy Joseph Bowles (Brother) and Yolanda Bowles (Sister-in-law); Nichole Cadena-Bowles (Sister-in-law); Jasmine Marie Walker (Niece); Nieces and nephews Charmin and Jessica Nettles, Aaron and Ariel Nettles, Elisha Cadena-Bowles, Joshua Felton, Justice Bowles, Joseph Bowles as well as a host of other loving family and friends.
