Taek Yong Yun, 88, Lawton passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home in Lawton.  He was born August 7, 1928 in Pa-Ju, Keong Gi Do, South Korea.  He married Chong Suk Lee in 1953 in South Korea.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, and came to the United States in 1987.  He operated a convenience store in New York City until he came to Lawton in 1995.  He operated a drycleaners in Lawton until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife Chong Suk Yun of the home, a son Tok Chul Yun and his wife Hyun Suk Yun and their children, Peter and Sera Yun, daughter Susan Szczepanski and husband Thomas and their children, Stephen, David, Jessica, Mary Ann and Ariel, daughter Duck H. Choi and husband Young Ki Choi and their children, Hee Eun Choi and husband Hong Boram, Yoon Sun Choi and husband Corbin J. Adams and great grandchildren Lucas Adams and Noah Hong, daughter Deok Ran Kim and husband Myung Chul Kim and their children Howard Kim, Brian Kim and Alex Kim, and 2 brothers and 2 sisters in South Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
