Funeral service for Tabatha "Tab" Runnels, 30, Cache, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Grace Fellowship with John Wallace, Elder officiating. Mrs. Runnels died Monday in a Snyder care center. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born June 6, 1980 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She grew up in Gotebo and was a graduate of Geronimo High School. She attended Cameron University on a cheerleading scholarship and graduated with a degree in elementary education. She married Paul Runnels on October 4, 2002 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Tab taught elementary school in Geronimo, Grandfield and Lawton as well as having taught in England while her husband was stationed there with the Air Force. She was a member of Grace Fellowship. She is survived by her husband, of the home; two daughters, Kaitlynn and Maegan Runnels, both of the home; her step mother and her husband, Julinda and Joe Taylor, Cache; a sister and brother in law, Nikki and Daren Shepherd, Tecumseh, Oklahoma; her father in law and mother in law, Ron and Irene Runnels, Cache; several aunts and uncles. Her father, Ricky E. Marshall, preceded her in death. The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
