Age 74, Lawton - Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Jennifer Long officiating. Mrs. Muse died Saturday in Lawton. Burial will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Family to greet friends from 6 - 8 PM Monday at the Funeral Home. She was born March 26, 1935 near Hobart, Oklahoma, to O.B. and Clova (Powers) Sullivan. She moved east of Lawton as a young child and was a graduate of Lawton High School. She married Gene Dodson in Lawton and later married Frank D. Muse on December 10, 1955 in Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2009. She had worked for Lawton Floral and for J. Wiley Richardson's florist shop for over 20 years. She was a member of the Hastings Baptist Church and had attended Corum Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and his girlfriend, Monty Dodson and Judy Dial, Lawton; two daughters and sons in law, Debbi and Buzzy Beyer and Denise and David Demastus, both of Cache; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Monty Wayne and Tina Guthrie, Lori and Ronnie Wright, Weldon Beyer and his fiancée Kristin, Colbie and Clayton Chapman, Cody and Heather Dodson, Katie and Josh Kirby and Jean Ann Dodson; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Dortha Brister, Lawton; special friends, Kim Ready and Brooksie Muse. Her parents, a daughter VeeDeanya Guthrie, and a son, Barry Wade Muse, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
