Funeral service for Steven R. May will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Lawton First Assembly with Rev. Gary Pratt, associate pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Steven R. May, age 44, of Lawton, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016, east of Lawton.  He was born March 6, 1972 in Lawton to Jim and Beverly (Butler) May.  Mr. May was a graduate of MacArthur High School.  For the past twenty-two years he had been employed by the Lawton Goodyear Plant where he was an extruder operator.  He enjoyed being with his kids the most as they were everything to him.  He also enjoyed watching rodeos and the cattle business.  Mr. May was a member of Lawton First Assembly.

Survivors include his son, Michael A. May and his wife Haily, Abilene, Texas, two daughters, Grace May, Colorado and Shyann May, Lawton, a grandson, Brantley May, Abilene, sister, Lorie Horton and her husband Charles, LaPorte, Texas, brother, Jimmy May and his wife Sherry, Cache, sister, Michelle De Carrie and her husband, Jason, LaPorte, Texas and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Cody A. May and his parents.
