Funeral service for Stephen D. Morey will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Elkins, Pastor of Abundant Life Church, Geronimo officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Following the service at the cemetery there will be a dinner at Abundant Life Church in Geronimo. Those attending the service are asked to talk to Theresa about directions to the church.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the funeral home.

Stephen D. Morey, 43, Lawton, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home in Lawton.  He was born April 22, 1975 in Lawton to Debra Russell. Stephen obtained his GED in 1993 and worked at Farm Fresh Bakery. In 1994, Stephen was blessed with his first child Licia. Following the birth of Licia he worked at the Lawton Constitution for a while and managed to dislocate his shoulder at work. Stephen worked at Heilig-Meyers building swimming pools with his Uncle Gordon. In 2006, Stephen was blessed with his son Adrian. Stephen loved his children with all of his heart and was the type of guy who loved to make people smile and laugh. He had a great sense of humor, was loving and smart and would do whatever it would take to make people smile and laugh. In 2014, Stephen became a grandpa and wanted to be called grandpa Smooth.

Survivors include his grandpa, mom, sister, daughter, son, and many more relatives.

Stephen was preceded in death by his sweet grandma, sweet grandpa, Meme, and Uncle Otis.
