Graveside service for SSG (Retired) Richard F. Phillips will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Burial with full military honors will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Richard F. Phillips, 64, Lawton, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 in Lawton.  He was born January 25, 1952 in Toledo, OH to Charles Richard, Sr. and Wanda Lee (King) Phillips.  He served in the US Army, and retired as a Staff Sergeant in June of 1987.

He is survived by his 2 children, Tammy Miltner of Wichita Falls, TX, Shana Elliott and husband Mark of Wichita Falls, TX, mother of the girls, Lanita Phillips of Wichita Falls, TX, 4 grandchildren, Christopher Phillips, Jacob Thomas, Ashley Elliott, Katie Miltner, his sister Noni Sparks and husband Mike of Oregon, OH, brother Charles Phillips, Jr. of Toledo, OH and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Michael Miltner, his sister Barbara Bechtel and his brother Ronald Phillips.
