Funeral service for SSG (Retired) Phillip Nelson Crosby will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Abundant Life Church, Geronimo with Tony Elkins, Pastor officiating.

Burial with Full Military Honors will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Phillip Nelson Crosby, 79, Geronimo, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in Lawton.  He was born April 9, 1940 in Anderson, Missouri to James Nelson and Dessa (Epperson) Crosby.  Phillip served in the US Army during Vietnam and retired in November of 1983. He met his wife Brigitte Hess while stationed in Germany, and they were married June 3, 1961 in Bamberg, Germany.  She passed away on February 23, 2010.

Survivors include his four children, Ricky Crosby and wife Debbie of Cache, Oklahoma, Randy Crosby and wife Wendy of Marlow, Oklahoma, Marika Martin of Cache, Oklahoma, Michaela Frazier of Geronimo, Oklahoma, his grandchildren; KyndraWest and husband Cody, Eric Mason, Randy Mason, T. J. Frazier, Dallas Frazier, Faith Frazier, Krista Monette and husband Joshua, Kaitlynn Martin, Brock Crosby, Blake Crosby and wife Lily, Erin Wilson and husband Austin and Shannon Crosby, great grandchildren, Brandon Mason, Hunter Easter-Mason, Annabel West, Lucia West, Micah Monette, two sisters, Barbara Shearhart and Nova Jean Hall, numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Brigitte, five brothers, Junior, Allen, Raymond, Carol and Gordon Crosby; one sister Rosalee Clark.
