Dean Karl Becker was born on May 20, 1974, at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico to John and Debra (Goheen) Becker. He grew up an only child of a proud Air Force family.

Immediately following his graduation in 1994, Dean began his 21-year military career with the United States Army. He served in many places, including duty stations at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Dean served in 4 overseas deployments in the Global War on Terror, earning a Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Valorous Unit Award, and many others. He ultimately retired from his military career in 2015 as a Staff Sergeant. Earning a bachelor's degree in computer science, Dean proudly followed up his military career as a Printer Technician for Xerox.

While stationed on Fort Sill in 2012, Dean met the love of his life, Jeannie Marie Acosta. The two were married on November 26, 2015, in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Dean was a humorous man who loved to playfully aggravate those around him and bring a little laughter into their lives. He was a protector at heart, always looking out for and defending his family, often without them even knowing it. Dean loved gaming and enjoyed the time spent doing something he was passionate about.

Most of all, Dean was a loving husband and devoted father. His family was his greatest priority, and he will be remembered for the love, protection, and laughter he brought into their lives.

He is Survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Marie (Roberts) Acosta; children, Kristen Acosta, James Becker, Kaine Becker, and Alena Hagdorn; and parents, John and Debra Becker.
