Age 62, East of Lawton - Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Letitia Baptist Church with Brother Jim Spurlock, Pastor, and Lee Carter, officiating. Mrs. Johnson died Thursday in a local hospital. Burial will be in the Letitia Cemetery, East of Lawton, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born on December 9, 1945 in Lawton to John Marion and Leona (Prestidge) Howard. She grew up in the Pumpkin Center area and attended Ash Grove Elementary and Central High School. She married Johnnie "Butch" Johnson in the Pumpkin Center area on October 11, 1963. She worked for the 7-Up Bottling Company for a short time. She also worked as a financial secretary for the Lawton Public Schools at Eisenhower Junior High School. She retired on March 31, 2008 after 29 years. She was a member of the Letitia Baptist Church and attended the Women's III Sunday School class. She loved her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, Sunday School class, flowers and her animals. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Michael Johnson of the home, and Shawn Johnson and his wife, LeAnn, of Central High; three grandchildren, Aaron Johnson and his wife, Meaghan, Dillon Johnson and Lindsey Johnson, all of Central High; a great grandson, Brock Johnson; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia Howard-Peebles and Thomas of Fairview, Texas, and Midge Stradley and Kenny of Pumpkin Center.
