Funeral for Sherrill V. Schmidt, 71, Lawton will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Dawson, associate pastor officiating. Mrs. Schmidt died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Lawton. Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born August 22, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to Harold and Virginia (Taylor) Stull. She married Raymond G. Schmidt, II on June 4, 1960 in La Habra, California. She was a loving wife and a daughter of Christ. Mrs. Schmidt was a member of the First Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and Pioneer Women of Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband, of the home, two sons, Raymond G. Schmidt, III and his wife Tina, Ardmore, Oklahoma and Jon K. Schmidt, Dallas, Texas, two grandchildren, Raymond G. Schmidt, IV, Lawton and Wesley Jon-Foy Schmidt, Ardmore, Oklahoma, one brother and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
