Graveside service for Sharon Lee Adamson, 71, Lawton will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Adamson died Friday, May 8, 2015 in Lawton. Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. She was born April 23, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill and Doris Lee (Hess) Hutchins. Mrs. Adamson worked as an administrative clerk at the Comanche County Health Department, retiring in 2010 after thirty years of service. She was a ten year breast cancer survivor. She was a major OU fan, a diehard NASCAR fan and an avid animal lover. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Smith, Lawton, two sons, Richard Adamson and his wife Patty, Lawton and Billy Adamson and his girlfriend Traci, Duncan, brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sharon Hutchins, west of Lawton, thirteen grandchildren, Lynsey, Chris, Cassie, Chris, Amanda, Ryan, Richard, Jr., Megan, Paige, Billy, Jr., Joshua, Heather and Bret and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
