Graveside service for SGT (Retired) Kent "Blue" Peterson will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.

Burial with military honors will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Kent Peterson, 66, Clinton, Oklahoma passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 in Clinton, Oklahoma.  He was born September 2, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Frank and Loretta (Gentry) Peterson.  Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Kent "Blue" Peterson was a father, brother, and dear friend to many.  After high school, Blue joined the U.S. Army and served his country for many years before retiring.  He then continued his career in the military by working for the VA Hospital System in the Medical Department.  The military allowed Blue to move around, but he called Dallas, Texas his home, before moving back to his childhood hometown of Oklahoma City in 2016.

Blue is survived by his children, Frank Peterson and Vonetta Cullars.  He is also one of many siblings, twelve, whom some are living and some have preceded him in death.
