Funeral for SFC (Retired) Sylvester C. Cordial, 86, Geronimo will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joseph R. Ross officiating. Sgt Cordial died Thursday, July 3, 2014 in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. He was born January 6, 1928 in Birr, Ireland to James and Mary (Comerford) Cordial. He married Hannelore Treiber on January 25, 1955 in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Sgt Cordial retired from the U.S. Army in 1971 after twenty-one years of service. He then worked for Mistletoe express for ten years. He was a volunteer with the Hulen Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, of the home, two sons, Patrick Cordial and Michael John Cordial, a granddaughter, Bobbi Gabrielle Gray and her husband Robert and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters and four brothers, all of Ireland. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert James Cordial and a daughter, Sylvia Cordial.
