SFC (Retired) Ronald Brault, age 74, Lawton, passed away Sunday March 11 2018 at 12:24am in his home in Lawton surrounded by his wife, Kun Su Brault and daughter Stacey Brault. He was born August 26, 1943 in Warsaw, Indiana to Robert and Lucielle Brault.

Ronald Brault served in the United States Armed Forces for a combined twenty-four years of dedicated service. He toured in Germany and was eventually stationed in South Korea, where he met his wife, Kun Su Brault. Not long after, they were married in February of 1988 and together they enjoyed 30 loving years together.

Ronald Brault was a man of many talents -- from carpentry to remodeling homes and landscapes to being one of the best Engineers. He had a passion for gas-fueled RC planes and loved to fly them at every opportunity. His collection of planes grew so large that he had to make space in the garage on the ceiling to store them. He also loved to build and tinker in his spare time, with his proudest project being a replica 1956 Oldsmobile Horseless Carriage automobile, completed ambitiously over the course of a few months.

He especially loved to spend time with his family and watch movies together, often enjoying daily meals with a lot of laughter. He had a natural ability to make others laugh so hard they cried and was a very hilarious gentleman. He was also very kind and genuine, often helping others in any way he could, whether it was to fix their vehicles or build car ports for their homes. In addition, he took care of many handyman jobs around the home -- if it broke, there was a ninety-nine percent chance he could fix it and he prided himself in pristine perfection no matter what job it was.

He is survived by his wife Kun Su Brault of the home, two daughters: Stacey Brault of Lawton, Oklahoma and Tracy L. Brault-Shutt of Dayton, Ohio, as well as two granddaughters, Alexandria and Elizabeth Shutt.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
